What if you don't like it?

Just like all other verbs in Spanish, put the word no in front if you don't like something.  Simple.

me gusta ~ no me gusta

    I like it                   I don't like it

¿Entendiste? / Did you get it?

Check how well you understood gustar by taking these three quick quizzes.

No me hagas llorAaaAaaAaar

Don't make me cry AaaaaAaaaaAaaargh

Personal a

In Spanish whenever you have a person in the sentence and that person is NOT the subject you need to put "a" in front of their name.  If you don't, your teacher will cry like "A" baby AaaaaaAaaaaaaaAaaaaaargh.

Remember in gustar sentences, the subject is the thing that you like, not the person who likes it.

Nosotros nos gusta cantar.

A nosotros nos gusta cantar.

No more tears

they f.

Slap some question marks on there!

You will be conducting an interview and in order to do that you will need to write some questions.  Lucky for you writing questions in Spanish is really easy.  Usually you just have to slap some question marks on to a simple sentence.

Te gusta bailar salsa.

You like to dance Salsa.

It's not magic, it's just Spanish! To write a question, simply write a sentence and then slap some question marks on there!
